In 2002, conservation leaders from across Micronesia, working alongside international partners who believed in their vision,  established an institution that was, from its first day, incorporated in and governed by the region it served. That institution is the Micronesia Conservation Trust. Nearly 25 years later, we are entering our most consequential chapter yet.

Our refreshed identity — new brand, mission statement, vision, and website — reflects where we are and where we are going. Our mission says plainly what our work involves: MCT strengthens the financial and technical architecture to support communities and partners to catalyze the protection of critical ecosystems to secure lasting conservation and socio-economic impacts. Our vision — Thriving Micronesian Communities. Resilient Ecosystems. Global Leadership — reflects both our history and our future.

This is not a reinvention. It is a graduation.
